Update on need new well
We held a yard sale yesterday but not enough traffic to earn anything to really help our savings towards the new well. We did have a few rain showers which only produced 2 inches increase in the current well and we're still praying and hopeful that the rain predicted in the coming days comes true to help our water supply.

Need a new well
Our names are Linda and Bob Noyes and we currently live in a 118 plus year old 2 story farmhouse which up until now have been using an antiquated 13 ft cistern as a well. For the years we've been living here this has been somewhat adequate. Due to unforseen circumstances and the current economy, my daughter and her three kids have come to live with us making a larger strain on this small well. Also mother nature has not been providing us with the usual amount of rain in order to feed this well from the underground stream. We have tried adding water to this well from an outside source but because of the old type of well the water runs out as quickly as it's added.
Our financial situation is another issue as my husband came down with a rare eye disease which forced him to quit his job that he loved at Lowes which cut our monthly income drastically as we are both retired and I am also handicapped with polio which makes it difficult to help him as much as is needed. Due to this income shortfall we have lost all our credit cards and because of a bad credit rating we are unable to secure a loan with which to have a new well dug.
We have recently been forced to purchase a small outdoor tent shower which uses water from our stream which right now is very cold so it's difficult for the kids to take a shower but they do. We have estimates of over $20,000 to dig a new well as they aren't sure how deep they will have to dig to get adequate water supply.
We are praying that someone will see this blog post and possibly there is someone out there that can help us as we are desperate. My husband's handicap makes it almost impossible for him to do the work around this farmhouse anymore due to his lack of eyesight. In some terms he's considered blind but when his eyes do cooperate and stay open it isn't for long.
We have been praying for a financial blessing to help us get a new well as well as help us with other necessities around this farmhouse. Right now we survive with bottled water that is used for drinking and cooking and use the well water only for washing dishes and quick wash up in the bathroom sink. All showers are done outside and we have to travel to a laundromat to keep our laundry up to date.
My daughter works but that income isn't sufficient along with our bad credit to secure a loan to get the new well dug. If anyone can help us please send an email to:
